We had the meeting with the zoning inspector today and although we do have our zoning permit, I would not necessarily say that the meeting went well. He wants us to bring back several items that go beyond what he told my husband that he needed on the phone. Had he told us we needed these additional items, we would have got them from our builder and land planner and brought them with us. He was indeed as nitpicky as we were told. I’ve run into people like this before and it often is in areas where someone is retired and they’re in a position of power in a small area and run it like they’re little kingdom. We will get him the documentation as quickly as we can as I don’t want this guy having any reason to give us trouble later…as he seems the type to do so if he can.
